Developing More Houses & Business

Aims and Objectives

Granta provides housing solutions to achieve the aspirations of its partners, stakeholders and the local communities we serve. We seek opportunities to provide additional affordable housing to a broad range of families and individuals who can not afford to access private sector housing.

The Society, having joining the MHP Group, has the financial and staffing resources together with the skills and experience to bring forward a broad range of development opportunities from small rural exception sites through to large complex multi phased mixed tenure schemes. We aspire to be the affordable housing provider of choice of our partners in the public and private sector in our region. A target driven organisation, our development service is designed to deliver quality homes that are value for money, that all stakeholders are satisfied with and would wish to repeat the process.

Developing More Homes

Working with local strategic partners, the Housing Corporation and developers Granta seeks to deliver much needed new housing across the Eastern Region. We are a long established and growing housing association with an excellent track record. We have the financial strength and expertise to develop and manage a broad range of tenures (key workers and shared ownership through to affordable rent) to achieve sustainable communities.

Adopting a pragmatic site specific approach to each new development we are keen to develop more strategic partnerships and joint ventures with developers and major landowners to bring forward well designed developments in our Region. We have experience of Brownfield and Greenfield sites, urban and rural locations; regeneration and new build (particularly Section 106 and exception sites) from small infill schemes to new village settlements.

The ability to assemble complex land packages and land bank sites makes Granta the partner of choice. We have the financial resources to provide a significant expansion programme of new development and seek opportunities with developers and major landowners to jointly bring forward schemes.
