Browns Field - Sherbourne Close - Cambridge

This development was completed in January 1984 and consists of twenty eight one bedroom flats designed for single people and couples and fourteen two bedroom (three person) flats. A car parking space is available for each flat. The grounds are maintained by a Caretaker and communal washing lines are available for those residents without gardens of their own. A service charge applies.

Drakes Court - Longstanton

The scheme consists of 8 one bedroom flats, built as part of a larger development with another 6 flats privately owned. The scheme is located just off Longstanton High Street close to the road leading to Bar Hill and A14. Drakes Court is approximately two miles from Bar Hill and ten miles from Cambridge City centre. Parking is available for each flat. All flats have Economy 7 electric heating. The grounds are maintained by a caretaker. A service charge applies.

Pratt Street, Mereside and East Fen Common, Soham

The Society has 5 shared ownership properties in Soham - 1 in Pratt Street, 2 in Mereside and 2 in East Fen Common. All are 2 bedroom houses. Each house has its own garden, parking space and double glazing. The properties at Mereside and East Fen Common have gas central heating and the property in Pratt Street has electric heating.

Soham lies approximately 6 miles south east of Ely, and has numerous facilities such as schools, bank, small shops and a library.

All the properties are initially available at a 50% share, further shares of 25% may be purchased up to a maximum of 100%. A service charge applies.

Kefford Close, Bassingbourn

Kefford Close has three 2 bedroom Wimpey built homes in the village of Bassingbourn. Bassingbourn is a medium sized village located about 3 miles north of Royston. The village is well served with local facilities including its own primary and secondary schools and Post Office. Each home has its own garden, a parking space and double glazing throughout.

The Street, Kirtling

The Kirtling shared ownership scheme consists of four 2 bedroom semi-detached homes in the village of Kirtling, approximately 6 miles from Newmarket and approximately 16 miles from Cambridge. All houses have views over open field. The village currently has 2 pubs, a part-time Post Office/Shop, and a new community centre. Each house has its own garden to the rear, two parking spaces, double glazing throughout and Economy 7 heating. A high energy rating has been achieved (certificates available).

All properties are initially available at a 50% share. A further 30% share may be purchased with the Society retaining ownership of the remainder. A service charge applies.

The Saxon Street scheme consists of five 2 bedroom homes in the village of Saxon Street, approximately 3.5 miles from Newmarket and 16 miles from Cambridge. The village currently has a pub, a church, a garage and there is a Post Office/Shop. The school is about 1.5 miles away in Cheveley. There is a bus service to Newmarket daily except Sundays. Each house has its own garden to the rear, two parking spaces, double glazing throughout and Economy 7 heating. A high energy rating has been achieved (certificates available).

All properties are initially available at a 50% share. A further 30% share may be purchased with the Society retaining ownership of the remainder. A service charge applies.

Heasman Close. Off Exning Road, Newmarket

The Newmarket scheme consists of six, 2 bedroom houses. Each property has a living room, kitchen/diner, bathroom and 2 double bedrooms. They have gardens to the front and rear, allocated parking for 1 or 2 vehicles, double glazing and gas central heating.

All properties are initially available at a 50% share. Further shares of 25% may be purchased up to a maximum of 100%. A service charge applies.

Medlar Lane, Cambourne

The Medlar Lane scheme consists of 10 properties, which are five 3 bedroom and five 2 bedroom homes; Each has its own garden at the rear. All have 2 car parking spaces, double glazing and gas central heating. The 3 bed have on-suite, all have downstairs toilet.

All properties are initially available at 40% share. The other 60% can be purchased outright. A service charge applies.

The Orchards, Cherry Hinton, Cambridge

The Orchards consists of two 2 bedroom and one 3 bedroom shared ownership homes. Each house has its own rear garden, off street parking for one car, gas central heating and double glazing.

The houses are within Cherry Hinton which has a wide range of shops and facilities and only 11/2 miles from the centre of Cambridge.
