Major Repairs

In recent years the Society had a survey of all its property carried out to identify future repairs that will be needed. The information gained from this survey, together with input from residents and staff help us to plan repairs and replacements before parts fail and emergencies occur. This planned maintenance helps to keep our buildings and your homes in good condition and allows Granta to seek competitive prices from contractors to keep the costs down.

As with Cyclical Maintenance, a specification will be written by a member of staff who has visited the property for that purpose. Any leaseholders affected by the work will be consulted and given the opportunity to comment if the work is not an emergency and the cost to them is estimated to be over £250.
