Careers Information

Our roles are split into three main areas. Have a look and see which area best suits your skills and expertise. Remember that whilst some posts demand particular qualifications, for many of our roles, no specific previous experience is necessary, just an understanding nature, a professional approach and a willingness to learn.

General Housing

Granta provides accommodation to meet social housing needs. We build or buy housing to rent which meets a wide variety of needs for families, couples and single people of all ages. This general needs accommodation is managed by the General Housing team comprising of a Housing Manager, Housing Officers, Wardens, Caretakers, Administrators and Reception.

Supported Housing

Our supported housing schemes and nursing homes offer residential care and support to a range of client groups. We currently have vacancies suitable for people with no previous experience in the care field as well as opportunities for people who have already worked in care. Full training is provided.

Office Functions

Our office functions include Finance, IT, Human Resources & Maintenance Services.

Current Vacancies

Opportunities to join these teams are generally advertised through our jobs website as well as relevant publications, as and when they arise.

Please note that for all successful candidates it is a requirement that a CRB check is undertaken by the Society. In addition, the Society is required (under the Care Standards Act 2000) to have staff working in a 'registered' scheme checked to see if they are included on the POVA list (Protection of Vulnerable Adults).
